The rooms are all quiet and cosy, with a private bathroom. The homestay has a stunning and nice setting not far from the famous tourist spots, and a quiet neighborhood. Many thanks to the affable and incredibly nice staff.

It was our base for rest. Location was stunning, at walking distance from Pagoda. Also, a market and stores next door was so handy.

The location of Mai's Homestay Trang An is perfect, just off Hoa Lu or the Boat Station and close to the main points of interest. The staff was friendly and amicable, and they helped us with everything. Staying here was a pleasure, and we would love to come back sometime. No complaints whatsoever.

The bathrooms and showers were not properly cleaned. Toilet paper had to be requested multiple times.

We were greeted by the host who explained everything, the bed was very clean, and they provided wake-up service; the private bathroom had a shower, hairdryer, and bidet.

The location was perfect for exploring the tourist hot spots, the main high street, and even the countryside. The added bonus of complimentary bicycles allowed me to easily explore the area. One evening, I had the pleasure of joining the family for dinner, where I enjoyed a scrumptious papaya salad. The atmosphere at Mai's Homestay was comfortable and friendly, and the hosts went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The proximity to the Trang An boat ride along the river was an added highlight. I highly recommend this homestay for a pleasant and memorable experience.

I stayed at Mai's Homestay in Ninh Binh with my friends and it quickly became our favorite homestay in Vietnam. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the rooms were spacious and clean. The patio provided a great space for socializing with other solo travelers. Thanh, who runs the place, went above and beyond by taking us on a bike ride around the lake and giving us recommendations for exploring the neighborhood. The meals prepared by the family were delicious, especially the amazing banana flower salad. The location was perfect, with a nice bike ride through rice fields to Tam Coc. Thanh's excellent English and helpfulness made our stay even better. Thank you Thanh and family, you made our stay in Vietnam unforgettable!
